Water You Waiting For

With swim season approaching, I wanted to share a quick reminder about water safety for children.
I was recently amazed to see my 17-month-old granddaughter, Elle, floating on her back by herself thanks to Infant Swimming Resource (ISR) training. This program teaches infants how to survive if they accidentally fall into the water. Elle is now in her second phase of training, learning the "swim-float-swim" technique. Above is a picture of her floating confidently on her back.
While the initial lessons can be difficult for parents because the babies often cry at first, I highly recommend this training to anyone with young children. In addition to swim lessons, I believe installing a security fence around your pool is essential for true peace of mind.
Stay safe this season!
