Calling all wine lovers or people who love people who love wine!
Stud Muffin and I recently went to Paso Robles for wine tasting for my brother's birthday. We had a blast! Here is what I recommend. (Myself nor Heidel Realty received any financial gain from the following endorsements.)
Paso Robles is home to many award-winning wineries such as Daou, Ecluse, Law, Justin, and Austin Hope, to name a few. Daou is one of the most beautiful wineries I have ever been to. It offers great wine, food, and spectacular views. We stayed at The Oxford Inn which is within walking distance to downtown Paso and has a free breakfast and happy hour. The best part about staying at The Oxford Inn is the free shuttle that will take you anywhere within a 5 mile radius, which is super awesome when you are tasting wine. The shuttle will also pick you up from the San Luis Obispo airport if you are staying 2 or more nights. (Paso is only a 6 hour drive from Vegas.)
SO, LET'S GO! I am ready to go back and explore more food and wine. We could hire a bus.
Side note: We went Sunday through Wednesday and loved the experience, but discovered that some restaurants were not open Monday through Wednesday.
