The food and wine in Italy, and more specifically in Tuscany, was exquisite. We took a cooking class and had wine tastings throughout the region. Our AirBnB in Florence was awesome, even though it was up four flights of stairs. We appreciated the stairs to work off all the food and drink we were consuming. From Florence, we went to the small ancient town of Montepulciano (super fun to say). Our AirBnB there was a bit different than the one in Florence. The bedroom had a large picture of the Pope hanging over the bed. I am not Catholic, but it was a bit intimidating to have the Pope looking down at you.
