TGIF! Today is June 17th. I am anxiously awaiting the birth of my niece. Okay, maybe not quite as anxiously as my sister, but today is exactly one week past her due date. Today is National Eat Your Vegetables Day. If veggies aren't your thing, you can join me by celebrating National Apple Strudel Day instead! It also happens to be National Flip Flop Day, so bust out them sandals and head to a pool. National Mascot Day joins the other celebrations and I'd like to personally throw a shout-out to my main squeeze, Chance, the Golden Knights' adorable Gila monster.
