Consumer Reports Reimagined

My dad was a huge Consumer Reports fan. I remember him pouring over each issue, then buying his products accordingly. Fast forward to today...I would like to introduce you to Yuka. It is an app my friend Sharon told me about and it is cool! By scanning the barcode of products you have in your home (e.g. food and cosmetics), it will tell you what is good and what is bad.

Turns out Trader Joe's Gluten-Free Organic Rolled Oats with Ancient Grains and Seeds are great! (I mean, I guess no one really needs an app to tell you this would be good for you.) CeraVe Itch Relief Cream—bad. (Too many chemicals.) Lolavie leave-in hair cream—good. (Who knew Jennifer Aniston knows what she is talking about with hair products?) Daou Soul of the Lion wine—extremely awesome and I don't give a crap what any app says!
