Pumpkins, Fall, and RNS

I smell fall in the air. It's Pumpkin Spice Latte time! The edges of the leaves on the tree in my front yard are decorated in yellow and orange and I'm looking forward to picking up local fresh apple cider and donuts from our very own Gilcrease Orchard. On my morning walk, the air is cool and "the trees are about to show us how beautiful it is to let go" ~Unknown.

I've recently received solicitations from companies who offer to monitor the title of my home for a monthly fee. The goal is to keep the homeowner informed of any item that gets recorded against their home (liens, fraudulent home loans or lines of credit, etc). Seems like a good idea, right? Nope! Do not pay money for a service you can get for free. Our awesome Clark County Recorder's office has instituted a program called Clark County Recording Notification Service (RNS). It's simple and easy to register online. Once registered, the Recorder's office will monitor your information and will send you an email alert anytime anytime an item is recorded against your property address or name. You will need to have your property Parcel Number on hand when you register. Send us a text or email if you need help tracking your parcel number down!
